Who doesn't want to achieve that wonderful Balmain look without spending loads of money? In fact, it's the look which will be ruling 2009/2010. The structured shoulder pad can be a great opportunity for you to reinvent your last season's wardrobe too.
Here's a cute dress I bought at Primark which has a bit of gathering on the shoulders. It already looked very cute on it's own but it needed an extra va-va-vom.
In order to achieve a designer look, I added a pair of velcro shoulder pads which only cost me 4! How great is that.

Totally going back to the 80's but feeling quite Blade Runner-ish....

If you want to compromise even less, there is no need for sewing the velcro, just stick some double sided tape on the velcro tape... Voila!

Very happy with the results, my cute cheap dress was transformed and got loads of compliments :)
Cheating can be fun!
See you soon.
